An application for a March/Pedestrian Parade has been received and approved for Saturday, June 6, 2020. As with similar activities (road races, tours, etc.) we are informing the public where to use extra caution when driving during this event to keep everyone safe. Participants will gather at 9 a.m. for prayers at the Morgan County Courthouse and then proceed by foot using public sidewalks to the Morgan County Public Safety Complex along the following route: south on Hancock Street, west on Washington Street, south on Main Street, south on Eatonton Road/Hwy 441, crossing just past Ingles, south on Fairground Road, west on Lions Club Road, and ending at the Public Safety Building. The event will finish at 12 noon.
Please be mindful of pedestrians along the route especially at intersections and the point where walkers will cross Hwy 441. Everyone have a safe weekend.
